This project was developed as part of my responsibilities within the company, where I worked on designing and implementing a streamlined payroll management system for internal operational use.

My role focused on building the system architecture, implementing payroll computation logic, and developing a user-friendly interface for managing employee salary processing, attendance tracking, and payslip generation.

Overview

The Apekop Travel Payroll Management System is an internal operational tool designed to simplify and automate payroll processes for the company.

It centralizes employee data, attendance records, deductions, and salary computations into a unified system that reduces manual workload and improves accuracy in payroll processing.

The system was built to support accounting workflows by providing a structured and reliable method for generating payslips and managing payroll cycles efficiently.

Objective

The primary objective was to develop a system that:

- Automates employee salary computation and payroll processing

- Generates accurate and consistent payslips

- Manages attendance, deductions, and incentives in a centralized system

- Reduces manual errors in payroll calculations

- Improves efficiency for accounting and administrative teams

- Provides a structured and scalable payroll workflow

Challenges

The development process required addressing several operational and technical challenges:

Approach & Solution

A system-driven and automation-focused approach was implemented to streamline payroll operations.

1. Payroll Automation Logic

A structured computation system was developed to automatically calculate salaries based on attendance, rates, deductions, and incentives.

2. Centralized Employee Data Management

Employee information, attendance records, and payroll components were unified into a single system for easier management and retrieval.

3. Payslip Generation System

An automated payslip generator was implemented to ensure consistent formatting and accurate breakdown of salary details per employee.

4. Attendance & Deduction Integration

Attendance tracking and deduction handling were integrated directly into payroll computation, reducing manual adjustments.

6. Data Accuracy & Validation Layer

Validation rules were implemented to reduce inconsistencies and ensure reliable payroll outputs.
